Meet Your Instructor
Dr. María Banqueri
Dr. María Banqueri majored in Psychology at Granada University in 2013 and completed her M.Sc. in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2014. She conducted a Ph.D. at Oviedo University and an internship at Roslin Institute (Edinburgh University) about the psychobiological effects of early stress, during these four years she lectured at the Psychology faculty. In 2019 she moved to Warsaw to work as a postdoc in Molecular Neurobiology at Nencki Institute where she is finishing a project about the microglial role in major depressive disorders. During this last postdoc, she collaborated with La Sapienza University in Rome. She has published 11 scientific papers and 5 book chapters and shared scientific results in meetings and congresses more than 20 times.
