With an extensive background in science and years of experience in the biotechnology investment sector, she has earned global recognition for her commitment to advancing gender equity and supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of providing quality STEM education for all.
A dedicated advocate for eliminating gender disparities in education, she strives to make high-quality learning opportunities accessible and affordable for students, scientists, academics, and industry professionals worldwide. She firmly believes that education is a transformative force capable of driving socioeconomic development and is committed to fostering inclusive education that transcends socioeconomic barriers.
Martina has garnered numerous accolades in recognition of her pioneering work. She was honored with the Woman Who Achieves Awards in the Start-Up of the Year category and the Woman Business Awards in the Innovation category. She was also named a finalist for the SME National Business Awards as Young Business Person of the Year, underscoring her achievements in a sector traditionally dominated by men.
