At the end of the course, you will be able to understand the roles and responsibilities of each and everyone working with animals and what are the protected animals and regulated procedures. You will also be able to understand what licences are needed and how to apply for them.

Meet Your Instructor

Dr. Alice Arcourt

Alice holds a Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology from Heidelberg University, Germany. During her Ph.D., she mainly studied the contribution and specificity of primary sensory neurons involved in acute pain signalling. After her Ph.D., she moved to London and focused on neurodevelopment at King’s College London. She developed strong expertise in neurophysiology, optogenetics, immunohistochemistry, and animal behaviour. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals including Neuron, a well-established journal in the field of neuroscience.
