Dr. María Banqueri
Dr. María Banqueri majored in Psychology by Granada University in 2013, and became MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2014. She conducted a PhD in Oviedo University and an internship at Roslin Institute (Edinburgh University) about the psychobiological effects of early stress, during these four years she lectured at Psychology faculty. In 2019 she moved to Warsaw to work as a postdoc in Molecular Neurobiology at Nencki Institute where she is finishing a project about microglial role in major depression disorder. During this last postdoc she collaborated with La Sapienza University in Rome. She has published 11 scientific papers, 5 book chapters and shared scientific results in meetings and congresses more than 20 times.
